WARBOYS' under 13 cricketers are celebrating after winning the Hunts Cricket Board's 11-a-side play-off Trophy on Sunday.
Warboys defeated rivals Godmanchester at the St Ivo centre, batting first to reach 147-4 in their 20 overs with Goddy managing just 84-6 in reply.
Top scoring for Warboys were Peter Ames (40), Adam Hyde (37) and Dan Wright (28) while Hyde and James Trafford bowled well, backed up with good work in the field.
In addition to the Huntingdonshire Cricket Board Cup, each player took home a replica trophy with Adam Hyde named man of the match.
Warboys face another cup final against Ramsey on Bank Holiday Monday in an under 13, eight-a-side contest.
