Eynesbury Rovers’ new Under 14 girls’ team have made a pleasing start to life in the Cambridgreshire Women’s & Girls League.
The side formed this summer claimed a second successive Division A victory last Saturday when beating Sawston 3-1.
All the Rovers goals arrived in the first half with a Chloe Parncutt brace sandwiching a Sofia Fisher Diaz effort.
Sawston then hit a consolation late on but it wasn’t enough to prevent Eynesbury enjoying back-to-back victories.
Fisher Diaz and Parncutt both scored twice in a 4-2 win at Newmarket Town the previous weekend after a defeat in their opening game of the campaign.
