Free-scoring St Ives Rangers Under 14s zoomed to the top of the Cambs Women’s & Girls League table last Saturday . . . thanks to their sixth double-figures success of the season.
Ella Burnley, the leading scorer in the league, and Elle Jefferson hit four goals apiece in a 10-0 triumph against Plantation & Spartak.
Substitute Nell Webber scored her first goal of the season with her first touch after being introduced before Lauren Mellors saved the best until last when completing the scoring with a stunning shot from the centre circle.
Rangers’ 100 per cent start to the season now stands at eight league matches.
