Ramsey roared back into the Tucker Gardner League Division One title mix by knocking Nassington off the top of the table yesterday.
Captain Michael Cafferkey led the bowling assault as his side triumphed by five wickets, while younger brother Jordon top-scored with the bat.
The skipper took 4-23 and Mark Edwards claimed 3-31 as Ramsey removed their hosts for just 121 - taking full of advantage of winning the toss.
And solid scoring from Jordon Cafferkey (35) and James Markland (33) ensured they eased past that target with plenty to spare despite being in a bit of bother at 42-3 early in their reply.
Ramsey remain third and sit 19 points behind new leaders Foxton.
Waresley stretched their winning streak to five matches by seeing off reigning champions Godmanchester by 35 runs.
The rival skippers were the highest-scoring batsmen on show as Tom Griffiths’ 33 helped Waresley to 150 before Paul Swannell hit a quick 40 as Godmanchester slumped to 115 all out in reply.
It was another fine bowling performance from in-form Waresley with Chetan Chauhan, Nigel Buckingham-Jones, Jack Richards and Gary Cole claiming two wickets apiece.
Eaton Socon suffered a second successive defeat when going down to Ketton.
Matt Rawling top-scored for the locals with 45 as they posted 189-9, but Ketton lost only two wickets as they had no trouble in passing a revised target of 152 as their reply was reduced to 40 overs following a rain delay.
