ROTATIONS Trampoline Club member Rhianne Chamberlain narrowly missed out on the gold medal by 0.2 of a point, but took silver in the under-17s girls F grade at the Saffron Walden grading competition over the weekend.
This means that Chamberlain, who competes regularly for the Godmanchester-based club, will be gunning for grade E in her next competition.
Also claiming a silver was Nick Beattie in the over-15 boys G category and he too will now step up. Katie Marson gained Bronze in the under-15 girls F category.
There was a debut appearance for Sam Foulkes, who also took a Bronze in the under-13s boys G and Sarah Allen-Farrelly claimed Bronze in the under-9 girls H.
“The kids are putting in hours of work a week to perfom two 30-second performances at these competitions,” said head coach Paul Verdicchio. “It is really starting to show that their dedication and commitment is paying off.”
