ALCONBURY U17s, in orange, entertained a touring American side as part of their pre-season preparations.
The side travelled to Halstead to take on Elsworth FC, from Maine, who stopped in on their tour of Italy and the UK.
Craig Linnell's goal gave Alconbury a 1-0 lead before Elsworth turned the game around in the second half, making full use of their 20-man squad to win 2-1.
The Alconbury squad was Michael Mackrell (captain), Sam Burrage, Tom Murphy, Craig Linnell, Daniel Leonce, Tom Ladlow, Richard De Havilland, Jordon Bays, Tim Hollick, Jack Grey, Tom Brookes, Adam Lacey and Craig Mcgee.
