The Saints face Ipswich in the quarter-finals of the Under 25 Double-Rink competition. They have already negotiated three rounds by seeing off City of Ely (48-33), Spalding (39-31) and Boston (47-33) before Christmas. The St Neots team boasts a number of new faces this season including young prospect Mack May, who is just 11. Rebecca Moorbey, the reigning English Bowling Federation Womens Under 25 singles champion, has also stepped into the team for this season. The home rink is skipped by Adam Barker with brother Jamie, another national Under 25 singles champion, leading the away rink. St Neots also made progress in the Denny Memorial competition before Christmas with a 46-34 overall win against Northampton. The rink of Jamie Barker was successful by a 28-16 margin while Ross Tomlinsons trio were pipped 19-18. St Neots reward is a clash against either Bletchley or Desborough in the second round.
