Budding Huntingdon BRJ Run & Tri talents enjoyed fine results when competing in the Walden Junior Triathlon last Sunday.

Dominic Pauley and Jodie Elliott both picked up second places in the Tristar 1 category, while Beatrice Pauley finished as runner-up in her Tristar 2 section at an event in Saffron Walden which attracted a field of almost 300 children.

There were also pleasing performances from the other five BRJ youngsters taking part - Isobel Moore (Tristar 2), Daniel Moore (Tristar 2), Edward Cochrane (Tristar 3), Lauren Elliott (Tristar 3) and Lilly O’Dell (Tristar 3).

BRJ coach Simon Moore said: “Our juniors excelled in a very competitive field. I am very proud of them for achieving a fantastic set of results.”
