WITH just one round to go, Browning Hotrods bounced back to equal first place in the league with a convincing win.
Wades were a strong second and Brampton an excellent third, with Stanjay Special only managing fourth.
Individually, VDE Stanjay Special provided the winner with Kye Jerrom weighing in 13lb 4oz from Benwick village ahead of Hotrods' Tim Nash.
Hotrods' Andy Leathers, who had been individual first in both the previous matches, was again in the main frame this time in fifth place.
This is quite a feat in a field of 66 anglers.

THERE was a field of 10 anglers for Saturday's sweepstake with Steve Ashwell winning the match from peg 9 with 34lb 8oz.
The places were close with Graham Gooddraw edging out Keith Ellington and Gary Goodyear for second.

Cromwell Saturday Series
THIS year's series starts on March 3 and will be fished every Saturday until the two-day final on Saturday June 30/Sunday July 1.
Last year's matches were very well supported with the total final payout well over £1,000. The rules are being finalised and I will bring them to you next week.
THE Golden Rod match was fished on Willow Lake last Tuesday in much better conditions than of late.
The winner was Mack McFiggins with 22lb 6oz of chub from peg 28. Pete Hatfield was second and Chris Young third, both closely following behind.

WITH the Chapel Farm stretch being used for the HAJAC, the Winter League Benwick's club match was fished at Floods Ferry.
Although few roach were caught, there were plenty of tench around and both match winner Tony Ingram and second placed Jon Seekins included four each in their weights.
RESULT: 1 Tony Ingram 15lb 2oz, 2 Jon Seekins 13lb 2oz, 3 Ted Seeby 7lb 1oz.
St Neots v Blunham
SUNDAY'S match was won by St Neots' Chris Young, who included a lovely chub of 4lb 15oz in his 7lb 14oz winning weight.
The next two places went to Blunham anglers.

RAMSEY St Mary's was the venue for Sunday's match, with anglers fishing at the far end of the venue.
The result was close with all the top weights consisting of all small fish.
