HUNTINGDON goalkeeper Ryan Hunt has recently returned from a trip coaching youngsters in Basserdorf, Switzerland.
Hunt was invited on the trip by Bolton Wanders coach Fred Barber, who has coached him for a number of years, and was accompanied by Bury keeper Neil Edwards and Southampton coach Malcolm Webster.
The trip, organised by coaching company Prokeeper, saw Hunt spent two days giving aspiring young players the benefit of his experience, helped by Swiss international keeper Neldin Jakupowitch.
"It was a great experience," said Hunt, "and exactly what young players need to develop."
Asked whether such a scheme would have benefited him, Hunt replied:
"Definitely. Coaching really is the key to turn players into specialist goal keeepers."
