Their fine haul featured 14 golds, 11 silvers and a bronze with Emily Williams the most successful individual. She won gold medals in 50m breastrtoke, 200m butterfly and 100m individual medley races while sister Hannah claimed top spots in 400m freestyle and 50m breaststroke events. She also finished second in 100m breaststroke and 100m individual medley. Other swimmers to strike gold were Ruby Lane, Jade-Lee Davis, Luca Strazzullo, Matthew Albone, Alice Jack and Ewan Thompson. Silver medals were won by Jack, Alexia Gilbert, Ellie Thompson, Ewan Thompson, Jade-Lee Davis, Thomas Lane and Tilly Davis. Jade-Lee Davis also won the bronze. Strazzullo also competed on the regional stage recently. He finished fourth in the 50m breastroke and 10th in the 100m breaststroke at the East Region Championships in Luton. Strazzullo was actually the fastest qualifier in the 50m heats and then clocked an even quicker time when narrowly missing out on a medal in a fingertip finish to the final. He is now ranked 32nd for his age in the 50m event. Emily Williams also won two gold medals at the recent Fenland Open meet where Darcy Button also enjoyed a race success. Button also collected a hat-trick of silver medals and one bronze on her way to scooping the top swimmer prize in her age category. Emily Williams also earned a silver along with Ewan Thompson. Tilly Davis won two bronze medals with Joe Wilson grabbing one.
