St Ives Rowing Club talent Lauren Maddison powered to glory at the Peterborough Summer Regatta.
Maddison won the women’s junior 15 single sculls event over the 1,000-metre Thorpe Meadows course last Saturday. She finished second in her heat before easing clear by a four-second margin in the final.
Sam Hasted and Rory Croucher (junior 14 double sculls), George Wells (junior 16 single sculls), Alex Stetchel (junior 15 single sculls) and Gary Gilbey (Masters single sculls) also competed at Peterborough.
