Longsands school pupil Christian Stokes will take on the best in the country at the national swimming championships in Sheffield later this month.
Stokes, who races for Biggleswade Swimming Club, will compete in the 400m and 800m freestyle relay events. He also starred at the recent Cambs Secondary Schools Championships.
The St Neots youngster picked up golds in the 100m backstroke, butterfly and freestyle at the games in St Ives.
Longsands were the overall winners of the event, with good performances from squad members Ashley Bygraves, Molly Bygraves, Wil Nicholls and Danny Sadler.
