HEAVE HO: St Neots U12s, in blue, scrum down at Rushden at the weekend during a double header of fixtures.

In the first match the home side scored the first try but Saints replied quickly through Ben Clare. The hosts snatched the lead again with a second try and scored again early in the second half.

St Neots got themselves back in the game with a try by Cameron Brown and Ben Tyler nicked the third try near the end.

The decisive area of the match was the three successful conversions by Lewis Medlow leaving the final score 21-19 in the visitors' favour.

In the second game it was the host's that lead at half time 7-0 but Saints hit back in the second period to grab a share of the spoils.

Clare had made the break which saw him gallop the length of the field for a try which was converted by the reliable boot of Lewis Medlow. St Neots' man of the match was Alex Cronin.
