ST NEOTS Swans had their second Trophy Gala in a fortnight at Wisbech on Saturday, January 24.

Danny Sadler led the results for Swans, with a first placed finish and personal best in the 200 metre individual medley and a first placed finish in the 100 metre backstroke. The team finished third with 98 points, behind winners Kings Lynn with 143 points and Dereham with 142 points. The team got 25 personal best times from 40 races.

Swans Head Coach Linda Ashley-Davidson said: "We came to this gala with a well balanced team, a mixture of experience and youth, and they all managed to put together a fantastic display of swimming.

"Our success as a team is not just measured by the number of personal bests we have achieved; it is the margin of improvement in individual personal bests which makes me most proud. It highlights the swimmers' dedication to training and as a club we are obviously reaping the rewards of this dedication."
