A SMASH and grab raid saw St Neots snatch all three points with a 3-2 victory at City of Peterborough II. Saints moved second in the table with the win, largely thanks to some excellent goalkeeping from Ian Worsfold. Captain Allan Knox, Peter Jarvis and Darren Coles scored the goals as Saints rode out of town with the points.
Meanwhile, St Neots III earned a hard-fought 2-1 victory against Peterborough Exiles' first team. Richard Knighton and Andy Heathcote were on the scoresheet for Saints.
The Veterans side suffered an 8-0 trouncing at Lincoln, not helped by the unavailability of several
players.
