PENALTY flicks decided the Cambridgeshire Ladies League Division Two Cup final with St Neots III beating Peterborough to take the silverware at the weekend.
Jay Dickerson, Ali Stubbs and Natelie Gaunt were clinical from the spot with goalkeeper Kerry McNair saving the majority of their opponents’ strikes after the game had finished 2-2.
Ali Mac had given the Saints an early lead but Peterborough came back strong, equalising and then dominating for the remainder of the first half
A second half goal from Dickerson was again cancelled out for the game to go to penalties.
