There was double delight for St Neots Golf Club star Rosemary Farrow as she won the Cambs & Hunts Ladies Veterans’ and Senior Veterans’ titles.
Farrow carded a gross 88 in the event at The Meridian course, in Cambridge, where a blustery wind made life tough.
There was another local triumph as Linda Christian, of Brampton Park, took top spot in Bronze Division B with a nett 81.
Clubmate Brenda Davey was runner-up in the Silver Division with a net 76 while another Brampton Park player, Anne Roberts, took second spot in the Bronze Division A bracket after carding a net 77.
Both players missed out on victory on countback.
