ST NEOTS Town will have to replay their Hinchingbrooke Cup first round victory after fielding an ineligible player.
Saints beat Thrapston 4-0 at Rowley Park on February 24, though the rescheduled match will now be played away, and St Neots have won only one away game all season.
A club statement said: "We have followed the correct procedures in registering all of our players and have even been advised, in writing, by the registration secretary that he was responsible for the error. We strongly believe that as this was not our mistake that the result should stand.
