GOALS from Simon Bollom and Peter Holland earned St Ives II a dogged victory at St Neots III in this rearranged fixture.
A penalty corner strike from Bollom and Kishor Shah's cross for Holland were enough to take Saints II into second place in the East League Division 4NW.
St Ives V went down 1-0 at St Neots III in the East League Division 7NW despite the best efforts of goalkeeper Jack Forward.
Saints III suffered a 5-3 reverse in a friendly match at home to Stevenage in which they never hit top gear. Captain Aaron Singh was stand-in keeper but was not offered much protection and the visitors left with the win.
