St Ives Golf Club’s ladies are honoured at the annual presentation night

NEW St Ives Golf Club captain Avis Drew won the first competition of her year in the role last week.

Drew came first in the Turkey Trot, but it was Trish Whittamore who took the top honours at the Annual General Meeting presentations before winning the Challenge Cup. Runner-up was Kerry Moore and she also won the Betty Burbidge Trophy.

Other winners at the AGM were Julie Walter (best gross score in the Silver Division with 77), Angela King (best gross score in the Bronze A Division with 93), Ann Horlock (best gross score in the Bronze B Division with 93), Karen Abbott (2012 EWGA award for the aggregate of four best net scores with 69, 69, 74 & 77).

The Birdie Trees Silver Division winner was Julie Walter, while Stephanie Allen won the Bronze Division. The Par Excellence award went to Barbara Dixon.
