Mildenhall 10-32 St Ives ---
A LEE Jackson penalty kick-started St Ives to a comfortable league victory over Mildenhall. Spurred on by the score, Ives galloped to a 15-0 lead with two thundering tries from Brian Richardson and a conversion from Gareth Trigwell. Seemingly coasting, complacency then set in for Ives and Mildenhall snatched two tries to reduce the deficit at the end of the half.
Skipper Jason Price had a quiet word at the break, and Ives raised their level for the second half. Man of the match Richardson bagged his hat-trick and further tries from fly-half James Cannon and full-back Tom Wakerley made the final score 32-10.
