Gregory Goodwin, 13, put in a stunning display in the U17 section and was narrowly denied the title by top seed Tom Symmons 3-2.
Tayla Mounter, meanwhile, who won the girls’ event last year, decided to go against the boys this time and took the consolation prize in the U17 plate event.
It was a Sports Academy battle in the girls’ U15 section, with Natalie Caulkett narrowly beating Charlotte Bamford in the final.
Bamford also competed in the U13s, beating another Sports Academy newcomer and rising star Darcie Mounter.
