WIMBLEDON-BOUND: The world's most famous tennis venue is beckoning for 13-year-old Sophia Rolt after winning a county title.
The world's greatest tennis players will be gracing the All England Club from Monday but Sophia, from Woodhurst, will be there as well later this year.
Sophia, of Huntingdon Tennis Club, triumphed in the 14-and-under age group in the Cambridgeshire leg of the national Road to Wimbledon competition to book her spot.
Coach Julian Payne said: "The standard was particularly high this year and Sophia's result reflects her hard work and commitment in training."
*Huntingdon Tennis Club is holding an Open Day on June 29, from 2-4.30pm. For more information contact Clare Bragg on 01480 411412.
