Justin Ives delivered a free-kick for Simon Anderson to head the visitors in front but a mistake from Phil Light allowed the hosts back in before the break.
Ives put his side back in the lead on 70 minutes with his first goal of the season but Whittlesford broke Somersham hearts in the third minute of added time.
Somersham reserves won 1-0 at home to Over reserves thanks to Michael Mead, while Huntingdon United RGE lost 6-3 at home to Swavesey despite two goals from Damian King and one from Richard King.
Goals from Salvatori Merola, Chris Collett, Daniel Attfield, Alistair Dodson and Kenneth Foreman earned Fenstanton a 5-0 win at Waterbeach reserves.
