Somersham and Buckden crash out in extra time

Eaton Socon Reserves cruised past Hemingfords United Reserves 5-2 and in a close encounter between Huntingdon United RGE and Earith, the latter won the day 4-3.
In the Peterborough Premier League, Ramsey’s disappointing goalless draw was good enough to keep them clear at the top while at the bottom Alconbury’s woes continued as they fell to a 5-0 home defeat against Whittlesey.
In Division One, Sawtry took their first win of the season, by winning 3-0 at Thorney, but Warboys crashed 7-1 at Stilton. Hartford Sun FC saw Facet run away with all three points after a 2-1 win.
Somersham recorded a 2-1 KO Cup win over Foxton, but Eaton Socon endured another miserable day as they fell to a 2-0 defeat to Ely City Reserves.
Elsewhere, Brampton won out 4-1 against Soham Town Rangers Reserves, but Needingworth crashed out 9-1 to Castle Camps. Hemingfords United had little luck and were beaten 4-2 at Girton.

Great Paxton entertained Cambridge City Reserves in the league and had to settle for a point from a 1-1 draw, and Bluntisham Rangers held title contenders Littleport Reserves to a 2-2 draw.
