ROTATIONS Trampoline Club made a successful club debut at a grading competition in Ipswich, taking a second place.
In its first competitive event, the club could only enter two participants, Rhianne Chamberlain and Thomas Verdicchio
After two 10-bounce routines, nine-year-old Verdicchio was placed second, with 12-year-old Chamberlain 16th out of the 36 competitors in the Grade G U13 group.
Verdicchio’s score of 46.10 was just 0.40 off first place and qualified him to enter the next level up.
Head coach Paul Verdicchio said: “This is the first time any of our members have competed in an away trampoline competition and I was really proud of both of them.
“They conducted themselves and jumped amazingly. They are a real credit to the club.”
