Ramsey went down to Wisbech by 62 runs at Cricketfield Lane. The leaders were dismissed for just 103 in pursuit of a relatively modest target of 165. Aussie Joe Barningham claimed season best figures of 4-46 and veteran Dave Carlaw continued his cracking form with 3-27 as Ramsey shot out the visitors. But they mis-fired badly with the bat with only overseas ace Trent Goers (35) making any sort of significant contribution before being the final man out. Former Ramsey bowler Sam Rippington put his old club to the sword with 4-20 to spearhead Wisbechs march to victory. Godmanchester boosted their own title hopes by breezing to a nine-wicket success at Waresley. Captain Matt Pateman thumped an unbeaten 70 off 60 balls while opener Tariq Aziz remained on 67 (off 70 balls) as they passed the hosts effort of 183-6. Sam Johnson top-scored for struggling Waresley as he fell three runs short of a half-century while there were also decent returns for Jake Allcock (39) and Simon Donald (38). Overseas ace Karabo Mogotsi took 4-19 from seven successful overs for Godmanchester. Warboys were again short of runs as they slipped to a three-wicket loss against Saffron Walden. Skipper Leighton Gilbert hit 49 and Sam Latchford added a useful 39 from the lower order as the local lads crept to 136, but four wickets from James Trafford were not enough to the visitors from leaving victorious. Huntingdon & District continued their fine return to Tucker Gardner Division Two cricket. Freddie Khans men saw off Khalsa by 61 runs. In the process they leapfrogged fellow locals Eaton Socon who drew at Blunham in a top-of-the-table clash. Matt Taylor became the fifth Eaton Socon bowler to rack up 50 wickets at this level with a fine return of 5-64 in their stalemate. They never looked like troubling Blunhams posting of 236-8 while reaching 187-7 in reply. A fine bowling display helped Kimbolton to a 55-run success at Fordham. Martin Burton took 4-30 while Chris Gilthorpe and Mark Roberts contributed three wickets apiece to skittle the hosts for 98. Tom McCarthy was another bowler to impress as he took 3-6 to help St Ives win by seven wickets at Sawston.SCORES Division One RAMSEY lost to WISBECH by 62 runs Wisbech 165 (J. Barningham 4-46, D.
