MORE than 600 runners turned out on the streets of St Ives at the weekend to take part in the St Ives 10km road race and Mayor's 3km Fun Run.
St Neots-based club Riverside Runners triumphed in four Fun Run categorys and two 10km categorys. In the Fun Run Kurt Sanders (under 13 boys), Ruth Flory (under 13 girls), Tom Stead (under 11 boys) and Emma Ritchie (under 15 girls) all crossed the line first.
In the 10km road race, club members Darren Priest (35-39) and Ann Storey (60-64) triumphed in their age groups.
The Riverside Runners also came second overall in the men's competition behind Peterborough Athletics Club.
