St Ives Town manager Ricky Marheineke has made his first signing of the close season.

The Saints have snapped up left-back Jordan Jarrold from Southern League Division One (Central) rivals Bedford Town. The 22 year-old has also played for AFC Kempston Rovers.

Marheineke needed to strengthen in that position as current left-back Jonny Hall is off travelling and will miss a large chunk of next season.

There is also a change of captain at ProEdge Westwood Road with Luke Knight taking over the armband from Jordan Lambert, who will now be vice captain.
