Huntingdon-based BRJ Road Running Club were well represented at the latest Frostbite friendly league meeting on a chilly February morning.

Pete Galpin was the first across the line for the club, closely followed by Steve Halsall in an excellent debut performance.

Other scorers on the day were Dan Vajzovic, John Wright, Pete Cox, Gavin Symonds, Mike Gullis, Steve McNicol, Lee Brooks and Nigel Maggs.

Tracy Bryden was first lady home, closely followed by Lorna Higgins, helping the senior team to their best result of the season, finishing seventh.

Junior runners Alys Moore. Martin Brown, Heather Wickson and Georgia McFarlane also put in fantastic efforts for their team.

The biggest cheer of the day, was reserved for the team of Galpin, Vajzovic, Wright and Bryden who were presented with their prize for being the first Frostbite team home in the recent Folksworth 15.
