HUNTINGDON STAGS U13s outclassed Kempston at home on SATURDAY, winning the game 53-0. Stags' weight advantage eased them into the lead going forward, and as Kempston struggled to make an impression the Stags fed the ball back to vary their play and increase the scoring. Charlie Gabriel, Kacy Nicholson and Tom GG each scored two tries, and Bal Dhital, Tom GG, Luke and George each scored a try. Bal ended the game with a conversion rate of 44 per cent, and Tom won man of the match. ST IVES COLTS were thrashed at home by Diss Colts, who ended the game winning 38-7. Ives had effectively lost the game within the first 15 minutes, but the Diss manager said the final score was "no reflection of a much closer game". The Ives started confidently but the beginning soon turned sour with the Diss forwards running through weak tackles with ease and soon gaining a commanding 17-0 lead. The home side began to play well but their attacking play allowed Diss to break and score again just before the interval. They fought on in the second half but could not get past the Diss defence, and Diss converted two more tries to further increase their emphatic score line. Matt Nice scored an Ives' try just before the final whistle, and Andrew Howard converted to get the home side some consolation points as the game ended 38-7.
