There was success for the Unders (a team made up of players aged 29 or below) as they beat the Overs (the 30+ brigade) 27-15 at a snowy Somersham Road. The match featured plenty of entertaining rugby as Bulls regulars were joined by players from neighbouring Cambridgeshire clubs. But the real winner was the Doddie Weir5 Trust - the charity foundation of the former Scotland star who has the currently incurable Motor Neuron Disease which is set to benefit from a figure close to £300. St Ives chairman Mark Smy said: We have a lot of fun playing this game we love and we also enjoy giving back to the rugby family. Doddies cause, support for his family and raising the profile of Motor Neurone Disease, gives us that opportunity. Whilst happy to support Doddies cause, we Overs look forward to revenge against the Unders in 2018!
