Stags were brushed aside 28-0 by relegation battlers Market Rasen & Louth in a Midlands Division One East clash moved to the second-team pitch at the Racecourse due to standing water rendering their regular arena unplayable. They soon found themselves trailing to a converted try and two further seven-pointers arrived in the space of five minutes just before the break. Sixth-placed Stags were left with a mountain to climb merely to restore some pride and even that proved beyond them. The loss of Seth Muggeridge, Tad Chapman and Craig Turner to game-ending injuries certainly didnt help matters while a fourth converted try from the visitors merely rubbed salt into some soggy Stags wounds. They must now dwell on this defeat their 10th of the season - until returning to action with a March 19 trip to Matlock.
