Ridgeons League Division One
Diss Town 1 Godmanchester Rovers 2
A SUPERB first Ridgeons League goal for Stephen David Hurst helped Rovers secure victory against promotion-chasing Diss.
Rovers extended their excellent run of form to three matches with a fine performance, despite falling behind after six minutes when Stephen Hurst put through his own goal.
However, Hurst's namesake cousin cancelled out the error with a magnificent equaliser on 33 minutes.
Collecting a loose ball in the centre circle, Hurst blasted a superb left-footed drive from 30 yards to level the scores.
