HUNTINGDONSHIRE Cricket Board will be holding their sixth annual dinner and awards evening at The Holiday Inn, Peterborough West, on Friday February 26. The guest speaker will be Vic Marks, the former England cricketer and Test Match Special summariser. Proceeds from the event will go towards county youth cricket in Huntingdonshire. The evening starts at 7pm and tickets cost �35 from the Huntingdonshire cricket development manager Kevin Clement by calling 01487 773926, or by visiting http://huntingdonshirecricket.com.
ST IVES Cricket Club senior indoor nets start on Sunday January 17, running from 9.30am to 11.30am at the St Ives Leisure Centre. Existing members can contact their captains with any queries and anybody wishing to join the club should contact Chris Hillsdon on 01487 842286. Junior nets for the U9-U11 teams start on January 17 with U13-U15 teams starting on January 24. These sessions run from 8am until 9.30am at the same venue.
