St Neots Town edged closer to securing their Southern League Premier Division status with a hard-earned away point last night.
The Saints now sit 10 points above the relegation zone after a 1-1 deadlock at King’s Lynn earned by a Drew Roberts equaliser.
The former Premier Division golden boot struck a leveller in the 65th minute at The Walks as Andy Davies’ men drew for the third successive match.
Roberts then missed a fine chance to complete a quick turnaround for a Saints side who had fallen behind just after the quarter-of-an-hour mark.
St Neots will be safe on Saturday if Histon fail to win at Bedworth – regardless of their own result in a home derby against Cambridge City.
