The winning team consisted of Olivia Sirett, Ella Crook, Sarah Grout and Isabelle Pettit, with Sarah (sixth) and Olivia (tenth) also shining individually.

Show jumping chef d'equipe Lyn

Benson said: "It's a fantastic achievement, particularly as three of the girls were riding at national level for the first time.

"We are enormously proud of their team spirit, dedication and success."

More success followed in the team dressage and riding club tests, with the junior dressage yellow team finishing in a superb second place, the junior dressage pink team coming a respectable tenth and the riding test team finishing in fourth position overall.

Individual successes came from Ciara Micibbin, Sarah Macnamee and Verity Heart, who took first, second and third places in the dressage.

The club wishes to thank all the parents and helpers who made the day a success and look forward to returning next year to defend their crown.
