UCL Division One
AFC Kempston Rovers 1-2 Huntingdon Town
RICKY Markeineke’s Huntingdon Town dealt a blow to Kempston’s title chances with a deserved victory on Tuesday night.
Having been comfortable frontrunners in UCL Division One for much of this season, Kempston have now collected just one point from the last nine available, and came up against an in-form Huntingdon side at just the wrong time.
Ben Colmer gave Town the lead in the final minute of the first half, but the Walnut Boys got back on terms on 64 minutes through Jack Weeden.
Huntingdon made it 14 points out of the last 18 on offer when James Peters notched a 79th-minute winner.
