Some complicated maths calculations left Huntingdonshire U25s victorious against their Norfolk rivals at St Ives last week.
Norfolk posted 170-7 in their 40 overs, with two wickets each for Hunts bowlers Praneeth Jayasundera and Tennyson Botes.
In reply, openers Alan Burton (40) and Ollie Huggins (35) got Hunts off to a good start but with Hunts on 127-6 after 29 overs, the rains came down and no play was possible.
Late runs from Ashley Rogers (18 not out) and Phil Adams (7 not out) kept Hunts ahead of the game, with a run rate of 4.37 ahead of their visitors' 4.25.
