PRIORY Junior School won the St Neots District Kwik Cricket Festival at Eaton Socon Cricket Club on Thursday.
PRIORY Junior School won the St Neots District Kwik Cricket Festival at Eaton Socon Cricket Club on Thursday.
The Priory boys saw off eight other schools in the competition, beating Overhills, Middlefield and Little Paxton in their group matches before overcoming Gamlingay in the final by 46 runs. In total, the Priory batsmen hit 1047 runs during the afternoon.
The win means they now advance to the County Final at Hinchingbrooke School on July 1.
The winning team, pictured, were Cameron Harris, Elliott Canham, Henry Dalrymple, Lewis Ager, Alex O’Hara, Isaac Owen, Shaun Parren, Harvey Wilsher and Gavin Ho.
