PRESIDENT of the English Bowling Federation Peter Mason, from St Ives, faces one of the highlights of his career next week. Mason, who is also treasurer of the Huntingdonshire Bowling Federation, will be co-hosting the national championships at Skegness from August 19-26. Last year St Ives trio Jane Baldwin, England international Michelle Barlow, and her mother Dina, won the three-bowl triples. Michelle and Jane are back again this year in the pairs, while Hemingford's Barry Deller attempts a singles double in the men's events.
