Abbots Ripton batsman wins The Hunts Post’s Player of the Month award for July
ABBOTS RIPTON batsman Lee Smith’s run-scoring exploits during July have earned him The Hunts Post Player of the Month award.
Smith, 20, batting at number three, smashed an unbeaten 192 in his side’s massive 141-run home win against Over seconds in CCA Junior 4A on July 2, a knock which included 23 fours and 15 sixes.
A week later he was at it again, thrashing 110 at Somersham Town seconds in a equally-impressive 146-run league victory.
Smith wins a �25 voucher from Hunts County Bats.
