SWIMMERS from Huntingdon Piranhas competed recently in the Cambridgeshire County B Championships at Peterborough, coming away with a record haul of medals. A total of 27 Piranha swimmers competed, and the club took home 14 gold, nine silver, and eight bronze medals, and 16 pennants for placing between fourth and sixth. The day also saw 49 personal best times set by club members.
The club is now gearing-up for the A Championships taking place throughout the month.
n Rebecca Young, 13, and Tim Berry, 17, have been named Swimmers of the Year by the Huntingdon Piranhas. Rebecca has been with the club for four years and Tim for seven. Both were recognised for their dedication.
