Two Huntingdon BRJ Run & Tri talents have earned the right to represent the East in the Inter-Regional Championships.
Beatrice Pauley and Liam Conway have become the first members of the local club to selected for the event, which takes place at Mallory Park, in Leicestershire, on September 15 and 16.
They will compete in individual event before taking part in a mixed relay race the following day.
Pauley and Conway continued their fine form when recording podium finish in the TriForce Junior Triathlon – the latest round of the Eastern Region Junior League - in St Albans yesterday.
Pauley took second spot in the TriStar 3 Girls category while Conway was third in the TriStar 2 Boys bracket.
Pauley’s younger brother, Dominic, was fourth in that race, finishing six seconds behind clubmate Conway.
