St Ives Town’s defence of their Hunts Senior Cup crown has been delayed following the postponement of a semi-final clash tonight.
The Southern League Premier Division side were due to travel to United Counties League Premier Division outfit Eynesbury Rovers - the opponents they beat 2-0 in the final last season - for a last-four clash, 7.45pm.
But the county clash was postponed late this morning due to a waterlogged pitch at Eynesbury’s Hall Road base. The tie will now take place on Tuesday, February 14.
The winners of this tie will meet St Neots Town in the Hunts Senior Cup final.
They overcame Godmanchester Rovers in a penalty shoot-out in the other semi last month.
