St Ives Town’s Challenge Cup semi-final tie will take place next Tuesday, it has been confirmed.
Ricky Marheineke’s side will welcome Aylesbury United, who ply their trade in Southern League Division 1 Central, to Pro Edge Westwood Road for the cup clash, with kick-off at 7.45pm.
The winner of the tie will face either Hayes & Yeading or Salisbury in the final.
The news comes after a disappointing defeat for Saints at the hands of Chesham United last night (Tuesday).
Second-half strikes for Ryan Blake and Sam Youngs sealed all three points for the visitors, with St Ives’ winless run stretching into a fifth game as a result.
They will be looking to bounce back on Saturday, though, as they travel to play-off hopefuls Banbury United.
