AN ARSENAL fan from St Neots met his football heroes when he led his team out at the Emirates Stadium.

Nine-year-old Harry Clements was the Arsenal mascot before their 6-0 Premier League win over Blackpool, in which Theo Walcott hit a hat-trick.

As a member of the Junior Gunners club, Harry was selected at random and met his favourite Arsenal players, collected their autographs and received a new Arsenal kit.

Harry said: “I can’t believe I was chosen. There are thousands of kids who are Junior Gunners and it’s a dream come true to be the club’s mascot. I had such a great time and it was awesome to meet all my favourite players.”

Arsenal striker Robin van Persie, whom Harry met on the day, said: “It was great to meet Harry at Emirates Stadium for the game against Blackpool. We all hope that he had a great day out and enjoyed all the action.”
