Thorney 7-37 St Neots ---
MID-table St Neots ran out comfortable winners against league whipping-boys Thorney.
Saints avoided the banana skin laid by the strugglers, who have not won all season, and could have put even more points on the board had they finished better.
Tom Worboys led the side against Thorney in his final match before leaves the club, and former club skipper Andrew Samms was back from injury to score a brace of tries after his lengthy lay-off.
The Peel brothers, Sam and Adam, ran the home side ragged and ripped through the one-paced Thorney cover to bag a brace of tries apiece.
Two conversions and a penalty from Louis Hall helped Saints to cruise home.
Neots were also boosted after the game with the news that injured skipper Phill Fernie should be fit to return for Saturday's match against Stamford after a 10-week layoff.
