St Neots Town 10-0 Desborough Town
ST NEOTS Town amassed their third double-figure win of the season with a perfect 10 against Desborough Town at the Hunts Post Community Stadium last night (Tuesday).
The league’s top team took on the league bottom team, and by the difference the gap was clear to see.
Strikers Shane Tolley and Stefan Moore each collected a hat-trick, and other strikes came from Jordan Gent, Lewis Hilliard, Michael Hyem and Dan Jacob.
The win keeps Saints three points clear of King’s Lynn Town, who have a game in hand, but boosted Neots’ goal difference to +61, which is 28 goals better than that of their pursuers.
Saints have now scored 93 goals in all competitions this season – 10 more than they scored in the entire UCL Premier Division season in 2009-10.
• ST IVES Town’s scheduled game against Irchester United was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch at Westwood Road.
